We're home...

And due to the bulk of pictures with which to sort through I'm not posting pictures until I have a few uninterrupted hours in a row to put a post together.

But a cute story to keep you happy...

Chris and the boys happened to be driving behind us on our way into the city yesterday so they followed us home so the kids could see each other. When Atticus saw the boys getting out of the car across the street his eyes lit up and he held up big wide outstretched arms and smiled as big as he ever has. Ethan ran over to him and scooped him up and they did a haven't-seen-you-in-years sort of embrace.

Very sweet.

Then when they were all in the house Mom was telling Ethan that she had been looking for a fun thing to bring back for him (and Aaron and Tyson) and Ethan picks up Atticus and says in a very serious and heartfelt way, "This is the most fun thing you could've brought back."

So sweet I almost looked around for a camera and director.

It's good to be home. The boys slept well last night and in their own beds (Atticus has been sleeping with me for 2 weeks so I wasn't sure how that would go). We'll spend the day unpacking and putting away and enjoying the sunshine (and wind). I'll post pictures when I feel I can face the big job that it will be.
