I think Mom and Dad got a real taste of what my nights are many times like last night! Man, those boys had me jumping all night long. Anyways, we got on the road by 9:30 and with only 2 little stops (Kamploops {what a thirst looking city that is} and Hope) we made it to Abbotsford by 3pm.
Dad found us a really nice park to take the kids to to burn off some steam and stretch their legs. Mill Pond Park happened to not only be a really pretty place with a fun playground, but it had a nice pond to walk around.

The only place I've ever seen these kinds of exercise-in-the-park machines is Taiwan. I think Mom was trying to work off all the fries we ate along the way.

Dillon somehow found himself perched in a tree, and I'm sure Grandpa had nothing to do with it.
Much better.
Not too often you see a momma duck with only one duckling, but look overhead and see all the hawks flying about and it all becomes very clear.

A big fluffy pile of gosslings. I don't think the hawks would dare.
The whole reason we came to Abbotsford in the first place was to attend my cousin, Shawn's, wedding. Since it was in the afternoon we had the morning TO SHOP! But taking 4 little kids shopping is a trial in and of itself, so what to do? Leave them with Dad and Ryan and let them worry about it! So, off they go with 1 kid in stroller, 1 on a leash, and 1 running wild and come back with 3 strapped into cute little shopping carts (I had Dillon with me). Great idea!

It looks like he's either leaning forward because he's a race car driver at heart or he doesn't want to squish his monkey buddy. I'll let you decide which.
The big event went pretty well considering we had 4 little kids sitting with us in the second from the front row. Nice (quick) ceremony in a cute little country side church. Both Shawn and his wife are fire fighters...
...and this little car was parked up front so when the ceremony was over we did a little photo op of our own.

My Uncle Gord (groom's dad), Auntie Debbie (groom's mom), Shawn (groom), Melissa (bride), Dawn (groom's sister-in-law), Graham (groom's brother) and Dawn and Grahams 2 month old daughter, Anna.

In the time between the ceremony and the reception was the time Atticus and Dillon flatly refused to have a nap (they were too excited for their first dance). I thought that'd mean trouble down the road that evening but as it turned out both boys were really good and had a great time...

...just as soon as Atticus woke up.
Actually, between the meal and the speaches and what not we took the kids to the playground just behind the reception hall. I think this probably made the difference between a really fun evening and a really not fun evening.
