Atticus wanted Dillon to 'jump' with him so badly so I put the little monkey in there and crawled in myself so I could protect Dillon from being used as a pommel horse.
Are you crazy, Mom? Let me out of here!
A couple nights ago Atticus woke up in the night screaming. I went down to his room and he was shaking and crying and seemed so scared. I asked him what was wrong and he said, 'Ladybugs. Get you (me). Scared.' It seems that during some time spent with his bigger cousins he's adopted a great fear of ladybugs. I knew he was just blanketing all buggy creatures in the ladybug shell since he hadn't seen one since many months ago when we saw one at the swimming pool floating on a mat. So, after I had to check his jammies and show him that there were no ladybugs crawling up his legs he settled down and went back to sleep.
Which brings me to today. Dad was doing some yard work and found hundreds of the little red winged creatures in the flower beds. We showed the ladybug winfall to Atticus and had to convince his immediate natural reaction to squish them wasn't allowed or nice. He's not entirely onboard about ladybugs being our friends, but he doesn't try to beat them anymore.

If you can fit two carseats into that baby, go for it!! :) It actually is quite a nice ride.
The day we can afford it is the day we decree no car seats in it!
