Be careful what you say, little mouth...

The CD drive on my laptop (the one I'm attached to) is broken. It'll take a couple weeks to fix it so I'm putting off taking it in until the day before we leave on vacation (we leave May 13th). I was struggling with bringing it with me so I can blog our vacation and not have piles of pictures to go through when we get home, or leave it at home. Now that the drive is broken it gives me a good excuse to just leave it at home and not worry about damaging the computer any further.

Thankfully it's still on warranty so the $350 bill will be covered.

Or will it...?

Last night all the sudden Atticus yells, "Uh oh. UH OH!" I look over and he has shoved my bank card all the way into the drive.

What goes through my head: "Hello, this is the laptop fixer guy. I discovered how you CD drive, as you put it, just stopped working. It seems there is a bank card in it. Unfortunately we don't cover stupidity under your current warranty. That'll be $350."

What comes out of my mouth: "Damn it." (although, in my defense, it was said quietly, under my breath)

So, today we are out on the trampoline and Atticus throws a ball up. It happens to go over the net and lands on the grass.

Yep, you got it.

"Damn it," Atti turns to me and says.

(BTW, I did manage to get the bank card out of the drive)
