Does it look like he just got out of a fight? He did. And he got a haircut at the same time...One day he'll appreciate a haircut for what it is and not what he thinks it is.
I spent the afternoon cleaning up the stroller, car seat, and Me Too chair in the backyard. When Atticus woke up from his nap he wanted to wash his digger and dump truck. Dill just wanted to splash in the water and try and take the brush from Atticus (that went over really well).
When Atticus was rinsing off the trucks with the garden hose Dillon finally did what he truly wanted to do; dump the bucket of water. And Atticus took issue with it in his own Dramatticus way.
I'm told our house in now up for sale. There won't be a sign on it (Vin thinks people will start ringing the doorbell), so the realtor will have to do a bit more work. This realtor seems to be on track with what we want for the house and, as far as I know, is actually interested in selling it (far cry from the last realtor). Hopefully all goes well while we're away (maybe it'll be sold?!?!).
That's right, we're going away for a couple weeks. We have a wedding in BC on Saturday so we'll leave on Wednesday and spend 2 days on the road and get there by Friday. We haven't decided exactly what and where we'll go, or how long we'll go, but since none of us (Mom, Dad, the boys and I) have to be back for anything we can just take our time and do what we want. I'm hoping (praying!!) that Dillon will be ok in the car since he's not much for being in his car seat for any amount of time. Atticus will be fine. It's very exciting, but I'm not taking my laptop with me (it's going to the MacBook hospital) so I won't be sharing the excitement with you until we decide to come home.
