Dillon had his appointment with a urologist this morning (results below). It had been scheduled for before we left on vacation, but due to an emergency surgery the Doctor had to re-schedule for today. Atticus went with Mom and Dad to the airport so after Dill's appointment (and since I'd already plugged the meter) Dill and I walked over to the Red Bus and had a little hot dog and lemonade picnic down by the river. Beautiful day with only a bit of wind (compared to yesterday's typhoon). It was kind of fun to take just one of the boys out and spend some one on one time (even if it did involve a strange man monkeying with Dilly's baby parts). Atti's turn next (we'll leave the strange man part out, though).
Dillon has mega prepuce (foreskin), not just minor prepuce or medium prepuce (if there are such a thing as those), but mega. And today the doctor declared it must be made nada prepuce. Dill will go under the knife in 3 or 4 months and become just a bit (or A LOT, as far as the doctor's opinion went) lighter. He doesn't support routine circumcision in newborns or little boys (nor do I) so I was really comfortable with this decision (he said it would become a problem otherwise). I'm going to feel really bad taking him to that 'appointment'.
