The penis appointment...

Just got back from Dillon's appointment with our family doctor regarding Dill's ballooned-out penis. This is how it went...

The Doctor walks into the room and says, VERY solemnly, "Poor little guy." He then does a little examination and confirms that there is an issue with 'things' being a bit too tight and refers us to, no joke, Dr. Wackworth.

He then proceeds to tell me that the chance of 'Dillon needing a vasectomy...'

WHAT?

'...the chance of Dillon needing a vasectomy...'

EXCUSE ME?!?

'...thechanceofDillonneedingavasectomyisslim...'

WHY WOULD DILLON NEED A VASECTOMY AT ALL?

'He probably won't. Dr. Wackworth will likely recommend observation before he makes any decisions, and then it may just fix itself.'

A vasectomy or it may just fix itself?

'Did I say vasectomy?'

Only, like, 4 times.

'I'm sorry, I meant circumcision.'

Bloody hell. I was about to start crying. Here I'm thinking my poor little guy is going to have his father-fate sealed at 9 months old.

I still love our family Doctor; he's a swell guy that truly cares about the little kiddies. Totally something we all do, just not with such earth-shattering differences.

The Doctor actually told me his daughter's friend and husband were living in China and were looking for a Doctor to do their son's circumcision. They asked a bunch of Doctors but they all said no. Finally, after 1/2 dozen Doctors turned them down, one Doctor finally asks, 'I can do it, but why do you want to have your son castrated?'

I'm sure they were never so glad to have been turned down so many times.

Good thing you asked so many times! Hope things 'fix' themselves soon. I think one of my cousins had a ballooned peepee too and they found a braces rubberband around part of it - scarey!
