Yup, he is a mover and a shaker now. Can't see him venturing out on walking legs for a while, but he's got the crawling thing down pat.
Last night at about 4 a.m. I heard a banging on my door, and who should be there when I opened it? Atticus and his digger. He happily told me he and his digger came up to sleep in Mommy's bed, and then proceeded to tuck the digger into the bed and crawl in along side it. How could I refuse? I couldn't, and I didn't. Atticus, the digger, and I all cuddled up for the rest of the night.

He loves to 'cuddle' on the couch and read books. This book is called, 'Cuddle', so he thinks that's the book to read when it's cuddle time.

This was the day we went on the big long walk. Atticus wanted to bring his digger (best money I ever spent) so I hooked the trailer on to the wagon so it could come along without taking up leg room in the wagon. The trailer is also handy to have to carry the inevitable 'incidentals' needed with a baby and a 2 year old (also, if you happen across an art gallery and just need to purchase some art, then it works well for that, too).

I sort of put my house search on hold for a while since Vin was really busy and didn't have time to get our Taipei house ready to put up for sale. He had a realtor stop by yesterday, however, and maybe by next week it will have a for sale sign on it. The market isn't very good there for sellers, so it will be interesting to see what sort of offers we get. We've always had people asking us if we'd sell, or leave their phone #'s on our door, but whether they'd pay what we need/want them to pay is another thing altogether. Ideally we'd like to be able to buy a house here before summer, but that remains to be seen.
Dad was reading in the paper today that housing prices are down 7-9%. That's good news for us, and hopefully we'll find something that works for us and is in our price range (whatever that is) when the time comes (hopefully soon!). There's an open house on Saturday that I'm going to go and check out, if for no other reason (at this point) than to see what's out there and what people expect for it.
So, hopefully we are now on the road to home ownership in Canada. And although Vin and I really love our house in Taipei and it'll be hard to let it go, it's kind of the direction we have to go. May someone buy it that loves it and appreciates it as much as we do.

You should post some pics of your house in Taipei. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like a glimpse of a house from all the way across the world!
I'll see what I can dig up!
I'm sure the people who buy it will appreciate it... it's a rare gem here in Taipei to find something as cool as your place! Especially with the 'yard'... it's a major selling point for someone with kids! (or pets)
