I was trying to find some really young Silas pictures, but the CD drive on my laptop is broken so I had to steal one from my old blog. I think he was about 3 months old in this picture.
His two favorite things; balls and water.
Vin gave him a little birthday party today. He was going to make him a doggy birthday cake, but decided Silas would appreciate his weight in doggy sausage more.

Oh, the will power that must have taken.
When we talk to Vin on Skype Atticus always asks to see Silas and then tries to 'hold' him through the computer. He and Silas were such good buddies I know Atti will be so happy to have his dog back one of these days soon (we hope). I'm also eager to see how Dillon reacts to him since he was too little to really take any notice when we lived with Silas. We miss our boy. A house just isn't a home without some furry creatures, and we're pretty fortunate to have Silas and Odus to call ours.Happy Birthday, Silas. We love you and miss you and we're glad Vin is taking good care of you. We hope to see you soon!
