Oh, and part of doing this MS ride is to get sponsors to help raise money for MS. I'm not really one for asking for sponsorship (apart from those I already went after), so if you're interested in sponsoring me let me know and I'll hook you up.
On Saturday evening before Atticus came back from the lake I took Dillon for a long walk. We walked by so many houses and I couldn't help but wonder what our house will look like...what kind of trees will the yard have...where will it be...will it have character...will we have nice neighbors...will there be parks and playgrounds nearby...how much work will the house/yard need...It's really exciting actually as it's almost been a year that the boys and I have been living with Mom and Dad so it won't be much longer in comparison to that. Vin gave his notice at work in Taipei for October 18. He'll stay until mid-October to do a triathlon and to finish packing up our house and getting it sold (if it hasn't sold already). If the house hasn't sold by the time he's ready to come to Canada we'll just lower the price of it until it does sell. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but we'll take it how it comes either way. I'm really eager to have him over here and start putting our own family's workings together and figuring out the direction we're going to take. And Atticus and Dillon (I'm sure Dillon will eventually warm up to him) will be so happy to have their Daddy back.
And speaking of Dillon, he's quickly becoming a walker instead of a crawler. If he needs to get somewhere really quickly he still resorts to crawling, but otherwise he seems to really enjoy walking around. He has also figured out how to climb the ladder on his play center, walk over to the slide, put his feet forward and scoot his bottom ahead so he can go down the slide by himself. He then walks himself around to the ladder and does it all again. He's rapidly becoming a little toddler and it's going to be really fun to see how his relationship with his big brother becomes more playful and interactive.
I guess that's it for tonight. I was up this morning at 5:30 to cycle so I'm hoping to get to bed before midnight tonight. Night all.
