I actually managed to get my caboose out of bed at 5:30 Thursday morning to go cycling. Chris and I had planned to go Tuesday morning as well but Atticus was sick so we didn't. It wasn't a long ride, but it was good to get out and start the long process of getting back into some semblance of cycling shape. The plan is to go Sunday evening, and Tuesday and Thursday morning. This entirely depends on Atticus and Dillon behaving themselves and staying in their own beds, so we'll see!
This time, though, it was rather a chilly morning and my legs didn't warm up until I got back home and put 2 pairs of pants on and crawled back into bed with Dill (the best part of the ride!). I was desperately tired but didn't manage to fall back asleep for almost an hour when my legs finally unthawed. Might be picking me up some cycling PANTS.
I took the boys out to Ryan and Allie's place that same morning so I could watch all the kids while mom and dad pulled weeds. The kids had much fun playing in the dirt again.

Possibly needs to get himself a larger ride, but he was intent on towing something and 'Mater' was the only tow truck around.

And then immediately after Ryan and Allie's we met Carrie and the boys at the outdoor pool to swim. We'd planned to do it earlier in the week, and it's too bad Atticus had been sick as it was likely a warmer day than this one turned out to be.

Tyson showing his underwater gymnastics skills. And then the camera battery died so I couldn't try for one that showed his face and didn't cut off his legs. Next time (when it's not feeling like Fall weather).

It's my cousin, Anna's, wedding tomorrow. Our job was to tie the green ribbon and tag onto 150 + cookies (wedding favors). The ribbons were a bit short and the hole punched in the tag a bit tiny to get the ribbon through easily, but it was fun to sit around and have a little work bee to help Anna out in some (small) way.

There were 7 of us (Keays) working on them so it didn't take us more than a couple hours. Carrie's boys and Jeremy and Buffy's boys (Atticus was with his Grandpa weeding at Ryan's house) played in the backyard. Great-Grandma was on Dillon-duty.
