Vin's here! and a Happy Birthday to him!

For the last few days I've been talking to Atticus about his daddy coming and how we're going to go pick him up at the airport and we'll see airplanes... Each time I explain all of this I ask him about what we just talked about.

It goes something like this...

Me: Atticus, do you remember who's coming to see you?

Atti: Jared.

Me: Noooo. Remember, we talked about someone special coming to see you.

Atti: Jaaaared.

Me: Noooo. Where are we going to pick him up? Do you remember that?

Atti: Airport.

Me: And what will we see at the airport?

Atti: AIRPLANES!

Me: That's right. We're going to the airport to see airplanes. And what special person will we see at the airport?

Atti: JAAAREEEED!!

Every time I ask him this is the conversation we have (just seconds after we talked about it being DADDY). However, he came around on the way to the airport and started talking about kissing and hugging Daddy (although I'm sure he was still a little disappointed he didn't see Jared at the airport).

Atticus was definitely a bit reserved at first (it was also nap time), but Dillon warmed right up to Vin and had no trouble hanging out with him.

I had told Vin that if he had room that Atticus would LOVE to see his old Lightning McQueen. When he last saw it he had never seem the movie, "Cars", so it didn't have any meaning to it. Vin managed to bring it and all I'll say is, Atticus is having a nap right now and McQueen is napping right along side him!!

Nope, not shy in the least! I think Vin was pretty surprised with how big Dillon is and how well he sits up and plays with toys. He's changed a lot in 3 months.

Feeding a baby that is constantly moving and shaking is an art form. Seems I have a 50/50 chance of getting the spoon in his mouth (at best).
