Laundry, Doctors, and Snowmen...

This was laundry day (what well matched boys for laundry day). That means wherever the laundry hampers go so must Atticus go along IN them. And because I can't very well carry Dillon and the laundry basket (carrying the 30lb toddler) he had to ride in with big brother and all the dirty clothes. He loved this because he could stand up and hold onto the edge and pretend he was a stander already (hence the prouder-than-punch expression).

Atticus went for his (almost) 2 year check-up (I love this, "Smile, Atticus"face). Dr said everything was fine (felt a bit odd pulling down Atti's pants so the Dr could check to see if 'they' were both there {they were}, necessary, but still felt squirrelly about it). Dr measured his weight and height; normal for his age (he won't likely be breaking any height records, though). When I asked if he had a big head the Dr looked down for a moment and then sheepishly raised his head and smiled really big, "He has a really big head. Let's measure it and see just how big!"

Yes, let's do that.

It turns out that Atticus has a bigger head than 97% of 2 year olds. I wonder what age group of head he does have? Will I be sitting in the Dr's office when he's 25 before the Dr proclaims that Atticus has finally grown into his head? I'll let ya'll know.

Any of you remember this toy from when you were a kid? We had one and I loved it. This was at the Dr's office and it was Atti's toy of choice (granted, all the toys were 25 years old). I think Dillon would love to have something like this to play with in his crib. Maybe I should make the Dr's office an offer...

Ahh, the first snowman of the year (ok, 2 decades). The snow was a bit troublesome to work with, and the fact that I couldn't even remember HOW to make a snowman didn't aid in the making of one. Atticus thought it was the greatest thing (until we went on a toboggan ride after and he saw a little girl and her grandparents finishing off their 4TH snowman). Beautiful day to be outside that is for certain!!
