Since Dillon still has a chesty cough (it did go away, but it's back again) I thought I should take him for a chest x-ray to make sure nothing more than a cold was going on. When I took him this morning the X-Ray Technician asked, with shifty eyes, if he's ever had one, or if I have ever seen a baby get one.
No, but why the inability to look me in the eyes, Miss X-Ray Technician?
This is why...
I think the Tech thought I'd cry, but no, I ran out to the car and got my camera (BEFORE the process began). She was really understanding of my need to capture this moment with pictures, even though I was probably one of the few mommies that got a camera instead of tissue. He put up a REALLY good fight, but we managed to strap him all in. The little fella cried quite a bit, but at one point stopped and looked at me with his little quivering chin and tears streaming down his face. What must he have thought (of me)?
The end result looks pretty good to me, but we'll hear from the Doctor in a few days.

I remember having to put Tyson in that terror chamber and I was one of those moms that cried...glad you have the pictures to show Dillon what it looked like. I may need copies to walk Tyson through it. Hope the test results turn out well.
The Doctor called yesterday and said his lungs look ok, but he has an viral infection in his windpipe, and to give it some time, Tylenol, and sleep. If it worsens, back to the Doctor.
He seems better today, bit more chipper.
That's one scary looking contraption!
