A rather full day it was. We smartly got up and headed out tobogganing, got Atti back home for a quick lunch, and an even quicker nap, and then off to the pool for some water-sliding.
Atticus loves school buses. He can spot one a mile away. At the entrance to the pool there was one waiting for some kids so we thought we'd thrill him and let him have his picture taken beside it. He wasn't terribly thrilled.
The idea was a family picture under water (left Dillon at home, though, so not a complete family picture). We tried numerous times but it was really hard to get us all in the frame.
We only just got around to tobogganing yesterday. Aaron and Tyson were over for the day so we decided it'd be a good time to go. Decent out, not too cold, nice bit of snow falling to make it feel really wintery.
Atticus talks about semi-trucks all the time. Last night he got a chance to go and sit in my uncle's semi (Dad had to peel him out of the van he was so scared in the beginning) and (after the initial fear) loved it. There were all kinds of things to explore inside (and loud horn to blow) and in the end had to be ripped from it's insides and put back into the van. Wow, school bus and semi-truck all in one day!!
