First week of full time hours at work. I came out of it rather tired, and at this point (Saturday) not real eager to do it all again tomorrow, but if I look at it like it's only for July and August and then back to less hours I can manage (I think).
Dillon, on the other hand, is struggling. It's really tough for him to not have me 4/7 nights, and then when I get home just before 11am when he's in serious mommy-withdrawl I go to sleep. There are many tears shed and drama exhibited, but he too will make it through (I think).
Saturday is basically the only day we don't do tag-team parenting, and the only day neither of us work. It's hard not to use the whole day to do yard work, clean the house, and do laundry - cause who knows when those things will get done - but what we really need to do is go and do some fun family stuff and just hang out with the kids.
And, the effort to keep pants (more specifically, underwear) on the boys continues. Dillon seems fairly inclined to go on toilet a number of times during the day (he'll even tell me when he needs to 'toot' and he'll do that on the toilet and then request 'can(d)y' for his efforts). I'm not really pursuing the potty-training avenue at this time, but every pee or poop in the toilet is one diaper saved! Maybe one of these days Atticus will decide not to wet his bed (although, he's gone 2 NIGHTS! in a row without wetting thus far).
Well, that's really all that's going on right now. Maybe when I get 2 seconds again to post a week from now I'll have more to inspire y'all with.
