How old are you, Dillon?
Seems their WWF costumes consist of underwear hats and no pants.
I let Atticus take Odus to bed with him one night; it was like his birthday and Christmas all rolled into one. Since he's on the top bunk Odus resigned himself to his cramped quarters and provided little resistance until Atti fell asleep and I brought him down. I don't think Silas will be getting such treatment, though.
Amy and her kids came over yesterday for the afternoon. Zayda and Atticus play surprisingly well, and since Cameron and Dillon are only a month apart (Dill older) it's fun to watch them toddle around and try and play with the big kids.
The older 2 tore apart the bunks (right down to the fitted sheet) and piled everything on the floor and top bunk. We'd taken the ladder off so the little ones couldn't climb up, but the bigger ones could still monkey themselves wherever they needed to go. At one point we found Zayda and Atticus both sobbing on the top bunk because, 'Atticus was laughing at me so I called him a bad boy'. I guess they both have tender hearts. They also came up with a game that made Cameron and Dillon 'fire' and they had to keep away from the fire (they've been taught well). It didn't go over so well for the little guys as they desperately wanted to be in the same room, but Zayda and Atti would keep the doors closed so the 'fire' couldn't get in. I don't know who thought of this game (likely not Atticus), but it kept them busy and active.
Just before they left we let the little guys have a turn on the bunk; it was probably the highlight of Cameron's visit.
I love getting together with Amy and her kids. I thoroughly enjoy her company and the kids have a lot of fun together. We'll really have to go out to her place one of these days and see where they live (it's not in the city).
ETR: What is with the crazy breaking up of words and sentences? I keep thinking the next post won't do strange things, but each and every post does it (ie. 'I' on one line all by itself - I did NOT do that).
