Tonight Atticus asked:
'Mommy, why can *Bolt talk words but my dog can't?'

It was so cute and heartfelt and sincere. He followed up the question by stating he feels so sad Silas can't talk to him.

On this particular day Atticus followed Silas around all morning on his hands and knees trying to be 'Silas' friend'. This is him attempting to lay with his 'friend' in his friend's manner.

I love that he's an animal boy. We were at the pet store getting cat food today and he could just spend hours upon hours looking at all the animals and talking to them. He's a boy after his own Mommy's heart.
