A house full...

Wednesday was a busy day with a lot of little kids about. Jared and Ayda were here for the day, and baby Keaton was here for the morning. The bigger little kids love having a small baby around to poke at and fight over!

It was also the day Atticus took his first trip to the dentist. While we waited for his dentist to see him he discovered a neat little toy with fun buttons and a cord. I showed him how, if he pushed said buttons, the little man in the water on the TV screen would do stuff. He found the jump button and was content to just continually make the little man jump out of the water.

He thought it was pretty cool, but I'm not about to let him start with video games any time soon!

And what a perfect game for him to see; water and jumping out of the water. Things he loves the most!

The last time he had anything done on his teeth was at the health nurse's office and she painted fluoride on them. He remembered this and told his dentist with great urgency to paint his teeth. He was really excited about it, until he had to sit in my lap as I held him down and the dentist filed off his broken tooth with a sander of sorts.

He screamed.

A lot.

And then the dentist finished and said he could pick out a treat.

And the screaming magically disappeared and sunshine Atticus showed up.

And then back to the house with a yard full of even more kids; Jared, Ayda, baby Keaton, Dillon, Aaron, Tyson, and Atticus. It's nice to have the 2 bigger cousins around to help with all the little ones!

Looks like moving day, Aaaron! (Atticus is driving like his Dad; left foot up on the dash)

Dad made his grandkids a sandbox while they were all napping, and it was a BIG hit. Nothing better than being able to dig to one's heart's content (except maybe jumping in the water over and over).

Dill even got in on the action, even though he's not much into the feeling of sand (or grass) on his feet.
