Hot Dogs and Marshmallows...

He's figured out how to climb onto the coffee table...

And practice standing up from a sit.

The gardener.

Not sure when the change came, but now it seems wearing hats is acceptable (especially when worn such as this).

Getting bored with the picture taking is my guess.

Please, mom, I'm just a little kid that wants to play (right at your feet all the time, and don't you dare leave my sight), put the camera down.

We had our first cook-out in the fire pit on Friday. Atticus was the appointed fire builder's helper and took his position very seriously.

He would've been happy to just sit there and cook everyone's hotdog and skip the whole eating part of it.

Didn't eat a thing, but I'm told he made up for it in pop consumption.

And then came the marshmallows, and the battle to convince him that in taking his marshmallow away I as actually going to give it back as something much better.

Behold; the smore.

Behold; the smore sitting on the seat in the sandbox.

And even though it was encased in sand, the mighty smore was still good enough to eat.

Tyson stayed for the night. And thank goodness for that since I had much to catch up on with my LARISF blogger girls (hey there, girls!). I made some popcorn, put a movie on, and made Tyson in charge. Dillon has never had such popcorn freedom.

Yesterday was probably the hottest day of the season so far. Ethan (in the shower cap), Aaron, and Tyson all joined Atticus on the trampoline. Since it was so hot we put the sprinkler underneath the tramp and let them jump away. And then, of course, all the wet bodies crawled into the sandbox afterwards.
