The dog is still at dog school, and now both the boys are gone to Arlington Beach camp with grandma and grandpa (they also took Jared so they are camping with 3, 4 and 5 year old boys for 7 nights). It's so quiet and peaceful (but only marginally cleaner so far) and now that I'm also on maternity leave I actually have the time and energy (not yet, but hopefully in a couple days) to do some things. I plan to get Dillon's baby book done (shame on me, but apparently Allie hasn't done Ayda's and she's 7 months older than Dillon), get out to see my horse a few times, get some things filed and organized for the studio, house spring cleaned (a bit late on the draw on that), and some time in the sunshine reading with a cold beverage that the boys don't cabbage.
The kids come back on Sunday, but I might get up to camp for a few days with them towards the end of the week. They take off again next Wednesday to the lake to go fishing on the 'Dads and Lads' fishing trip for 4 days, and then regular life will resume after that. Since Vin and I (mostly him) can't really go anywhere now that the studio is open I'm grateful that my parents are able to give them so summer fun. And hopefully the boys behave themselves.
