Well it's official, Vincent (and his partner) will be opening their own yoga studio March 5th. They've been working on it for a couple months but hadn't told anyone (apart from family) until yesterday. It's exciting and scary (my income is the only 'sure thing' now) and something that was going to happen sooner than later, we just hadn't planned on it being this soon. The location is great (8th and Clarence) for a number of reasons; the most important being that it needs very little re-working inside. I'll continue to work full time but will change my nights around a bit so Vin can teach some morning classes spread throughout the week. He'll likely be done at World Gym (whether he wants to be or not ;-) ) and will focus all his time and energy on building up the clientele at Vidya and making the studio what he wants it to be.
So far, after it only being a day after they let the word out, they've had very positive, excited feedback. I think the combination of Vin and his partner (Yohannes Petros) will be a solid partnership and I'm sure they'll do very well.
