Yesterday we all got together (extended family) for family photos. Dillon is always the difficult one and child most likely to cry for every picture, so I told the photographer to just carry on and ignore him as if we wait for him to cooperate we'll be waiting all day long.
The photographer gets all 15 of us arranged and gets behind the camera. Everyone, EVEN DILLON is happy and smiling and ready to all be stars of the show when the very second the photographer is about to snap her first shot...
Dillon gets a big nosebleed.
Of course he did. His second nosebleed ever and it was that day at that moment.
After the pictures we went to Aaron and Tyson's 7th birthday party. What started out looking rather cool and cloudy ended up being warm enough to sit outside and let the kids play. We got the boys badminton rackets and the gear to go along with it and Atticus was just desperate for the boys to share with him. He gave the boys their present with strict instructions that it was 'to share'.
This was an attempt at getting all the cousins lined up on the slide in order. There were a few snags, but the fact that Dillon put on his regular 'group photo' hat was the deal breaker and end of that endeavor.
Happy Birthday, boys!
One of a number of time-outs for crimes against Jared.
Back on the home-front.
We took the training wheels off Atti's bike (and apparently this was just what Vin had been waiting for; Silas can hardly catch him!). He keeps talking about us buying him a bike like 'the boys', but I said he has to learn how to ride his own bike without training wheels first.
He's not real sure about this whole put-your-foot-down-when-you-stop-or-you'll-tip-over idea, but he just needs some time (and lack of snow!!!) to figure it out.
Had all 4 monkeys last night for a little bit. They all play pretty good, especially when you take them to Burger King and let them run freely in the 2-story playland. That one on 8th street by Zellers (is it 'er' or 'ar'?) is GREAT!
And then it snowed and we all wished we'd just stayed in bed and missed the whole ugliness that is snow for the 3RD TIME since we thought we'd seen the last of it.
This picture is actually from the 2nd time that we thought we'd seen the last of it. We were so wrong.

Since the snow dampened the intentions of setting up the badminton net in the backyard this morning, the boys spent a great deal of time playing their own version in the basement. They had a blast! Thanks for the great gift and a lot of laughs yesterday at the party.
Nice photo coverage of the week's activities, sorry about the snow! Loved the "shades" and the tiger face. The twins were so gracious about waiting to open gifts till the end of the party.
Your boys are starting to look more and more alike. They both have the same concentration scowl. So cute.
