Well, our yard no longer looks like this. We enjoyed the balmy weather and moderate clothing requirements as long as it lasted. And now, winter seems to have returned. I'd go out and take a picture of the winter wonderland if I wasn't so worried I'd be blown back to Taiwan.
Either Atticus looks really small in this one or Odus looks huge.
A valiant attempt at doubling his brother.
Vin's been back for a week now. We did a lot of yard work and he's now in the process of blessing me with our central vacuum installation. I. Can't. Wait.
This was the jacket he chose. I was shocked that he kept it on as long as he did, but when the wind picked up he was probably the warmest one out of us all.
Not as happy with the added helmet restrictions, pretty much could only look forward.
He loves to ride his trike, but when we go for walk I have to stay back with him and that means I can't watch Atticus as I need to. So, he gets put in the wagon with his trike, Atticus rides, and we go to the park where they can both ride or play on the playground. He got a few looks this time.
Not really the most comfortable looking, but probably wouldn't have hurt himself if he'd have fallen out.
On Good Friday we went to 'Stations of the Cross' at church and then picked Vin up at the airport. On Easter Sunday we got up and had an Easter egg hunt for both Vin and the kids, went to church, and then went to Mom and Dad's for lunch. We brought along the only rabbit we'll have in our house for at least a few more years.
The trampoline was all set up, but Dillon chose to watch from the comfort of the kitchen window (in Grandpa's shoes).
We met Auntie Dianne, Anna, and Amy and her kids at the Fun Factory this week. Anna is in town until Tuesday so we needed to meet up with her and let Atti get his fix.
I'd never take the kids on my own as that'd be my face peering out from the hamster-way, so it was nice that Zayda (4) could run through it with Atti. They don't seem to mind the smell and heat.
Cameron and Dillon are a month apart (Dill being a month older). I wanted to get a nice picture of them together but Dill would have none of it. Cameron was so willing and agreeable, though.
Sense a theme?
This will have to do.
Ah, Anna. He was so silly and excited to see her. He made her crawl around with him and would cry for her from inside the play thing when she'd dare to take a break. Really, you were such a good sport, Anna.
Atticus made a 'Good News Telephone' at Sunday School on Easter Sunday. My bet is that he was fooling around when the demonstration of said telephone was being given and sort of missed the point of it. But it's really cute and he remembered the story of Jesus 'being hurt' and then someone putting Him in 'the cave' (even a week later he can still tell me the story he learned at Sunday School).
Anna (and Auntie Dianne) came over this morning. We did a big top to bottom cleaning of the house and the incentive of Anna coming to visit made Atticus extremely diligent in cleaning up his toys in the basement.
Atticus was quick to employ her in story reading. She'll be gone in a few days so this is likely the last time he'll see her until she visits again (summer?). It was really nice she was able to come see his room (he's been waiting to show her) and his dog and the place where all the shenanigans take place now. We'll all miss you, Anna, but none more than Atticus. Thanks for being so sweet to him!

You just blessed my heart when you wrote that Atti remembered the lesson in Sunday School! :)
Next time Amy and kids are around, let me know and I'll try to join you all.
My favorite way to start (or end) the day - new photos and catchy narrative on your blog!
