...went to be with the Lord this afternoon. It was a smooth and calm passing with his daughters by his side (his son was nearby). We all went up to say our good-byes when we heard he'd passed away and, although we'll miss him, everyone is glad he was able to slip away as peacefully as he seemed to.
Good-bye, Grandpa. You were one of the funniest people I knew and you provided so much love and happiness in so many lives. I love you and will miss your wonderful smile and silly sayings. You were truly a wonderful Grandpa.
