Vin's here...

The boys waiting at the arrival's gate.

The boys getting tired of waiting at the arrival's gate.

The last time Vin came (February) Atticus wasn't as outwardly excited to see him as he was this time (I think he saw a ball or something and got distracted). This time he ran to him and yelled, "Daddy!" and gave him a big hug.

And then he noticed Odus in the bag and pretty much focused all of his attention there.

Odus will be 11 in October and has made 2 trans-continental flights in his life now. When I took him to Taiwan with me he was able to fly in the cabin the whole way, but this time he couldn't be in the cabin for the international part (he was for domestic). I was really worried he'd have a hard time and maybe not thrive too well, but he did fine (he's young at heart) and is now working through his jet lag (he slept on Mom and Dad's bed all night with them last night).

And Atticus has stuck rather close to his Dad. He introduced him to the trampoline, and is very careful not to let Vin spend more than a few moments at a time holding or playing with Dillon.

We all went for a walk last night (I sure hope this cool, rainy weather stops soon) and Dill ended up being in the utility wagon by the end of the walk (he sat there opening and closing the 'trunk')

Bedtime. Atti's favorite book right now is, "The Digging-est Dog". Vin laid down on his stomach on the bed and Atticus initially lay down beside him, but then after trying to snuggle in as close as he could he found that the only way to go was to crawl underneath Vin's stomach and have Vin laying on top of him (this was the compromise).

We're really enjoying having Vincent here (I got my hair done yesterday and had a coffee at an actual coffee shop). I left the boys with Vin this afternoon during nap time so I could get some things done for Dillon's birthday tomorrow. When I got home Vin wanted to take a nap and because Atticus can not be without Daddy for any amount of time he opted to take ANOTHER nap just so he could lay beside him. Sweet little guy.

And tomorrow is the big day! Vin gave Dillon a haircut so he's all ready for the big 1. I hope the weather smartens up for us so we can be outside.
