Dillon used to be the hardest one (out of all the grandkids) to get in a picture, and getting him to smile was rare. Now he's pretty good to be in pictures and loves to 'smile' (and I use that word loosely), but the quality of his smile is sometimes lacking. Exhibit A...

 Exhibit B...

At least one can see his eyes.

The first attempt at the grandkids gathered 'round for Christmas. If it wasn't for Ayda and Dillon it'd have been a pretty navy looking bunch. Grandma supplied the 'jingle bells', which was good 'cause if she hadn't it would have been a picture of all the grandkids minus the four in front.

Exhibit C. And I'm not sure what's going on with Atti's eyes.

Exhibit D. Believe it or not, but only Atticus was giving his silly face.

Exhibit E.

On our way to church tonight Atticus was asking about angels again (he asks about them a lot). He wanted to know why angels were invisible, and after much thought I said that it wouldn't be very special  if we could see them. I thought he'd accepted my (terribly insufficient) answer, but apparently didn't as he told me he was going to look for them and proceeded to look left and right out the truck windows as we drove. After about 10 houses he informed me that he still had seen any. He also educated me to the fact that angels are white, naked, and hard. And they have no eyes.

I think someone is a might bit confused with ceramic cherubs.

Anyways, when we got home from church and we were all in our jammies I let the kids take pictures on my camera. Dill didn't want to be in many, but they both had fun taking pictures.

I erased most of these, but oh how they loved taking pictures of their mouths.

I think they did a pretty good job, actually. I might do this more often.
